Guys Go Wild for Military Camouflage Fashion!

The Military Camouflage Fashion has been around for years and peaked during the 90's -- But in this past few years, it has become fashionable and trendy again, especially among gay men!

From Versace to Kenzo , Paris to New York runaways, and even featured on Vogue magazine -- People are starting to dress in Military & Navy patterned clothings again. Even today, you walk into ZARA, their Fall fashion has a dedicated segment for military camo clothings.

Penang Street Art Instagram Guide for Gays!

Penang Island - The most popular island in Malaysia -- What can I say -- I've lived in Penang for 4 years but unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy the tourist boom that Penang experience nowadays.

Back then, Penang island was still a very laidback island, popular among local Malaysians and the Caucasian backpackers & retirees from the Commonwealth countries. The olden part of Georgetown was left dilapidated, the streets & beaches were filthy, KOMTAR was neglected, pollution, no major shopping centers -- all these changed once Penang was accorded the World Heritage Site in 2008.

But there are things which I prefer back in the olden days :

1) Good food at cheap prices -- Yes! Foods in Penang were very cheap! ( Prices in 2002 vs 2017 )

  • Penang Road Teochew Chendol - ~ RM1.30 vs RM4
  • Air Itam Asam Laksa  ~ RM2 vs RM5
  • Kayu Nasi Kandar ~ Yes, it was RM3.50 for 1 vegetable+1 chicken vs RM10
  • Regular Penang Char Kuey Teow ~ RM2.50 vs RM6
  • The arrogant Lorong Selamat Char Kuey Teow lady ~ RM4 vs RM10
  • Ais Kacang ~ RM2 vs RM5.50
  • Pasembur ~ RM3 vs RM8
  • Nyonya Kuihs ~ RM0.50 vs RM1.10
  • Him Heang Tambun Biscuits ~ RM7.50 vs RM14
  • Back then, it was very difficult to buy the 160-year old Ghee Hiang Tambun biscuits, whereby you need to pre-order first as they won't entertain any walk-in customers -- somehow, I don't know why, they decided to commercialize their products and now you can buy Ghee Hiang everywhere & you can even get it at Lot 10's Hutong food court - but at a higher price, of course! )

2) Mini Buses & Yellow Buses

  • Yes, those days Mini Buses is the way to go. It was so convenient, fast & efficient, wide coverage and high frequency -- Before the government decided to takeover the public transport which became so inconvenient  -- Those days, I only needed to wait like 10 minutes for a bus vs 1 hour nowadays ( certain routes )

3) Traffic Jams

  • Not to say that Penang wasn't jammed back then, Penang roads are forever small and the limited space in the island itself is no help to the traffic. Even after the government has widened the Penang Bridge from 4-lanes to 6-lanes and built a second-bridge, it's still very jammed during peak hours. Nowadays, don't even think of visiting Penang island during Public Holidays!

But one thing for sure that hasn't change throughout the years in Penang is -- Penang has the WORST drivers in Malaysia -- LOL!

Yes ! There are so many articles justifying this statement ...

  1. 9 Reasons Why KL Drivers Fear For Their Lives When Driving in Penang by Says.com July 2016 ( Please read it, very factual indeed! )
  2. Penang Drivers : Crazy or Misunderstood? Dec 2016
  3. The Survivors Guide to Driving in Penang Nov 2016

Therefore, it has become a known fact that once a person conquers his/her driving skills in Penang, then driving in Malaysia will be a breeze! ( Please note : do google search if you really don't know, Why Driving in Malaysia needs you to be mentally prepared )

Alright, enough of reminiscing ... Moving forward :

One of Penang's most popular tourist attractions is the "Penang Street Art" murals, which were started by a Lithuanian artist, Ernest Zacharevic in 2012. Ever since them, numerous street arts by various artists have cropped up all over Penang and it has become one of the top instagrammable activities in Penang!

The street arts has also garnered the attention of popular gay travel blogger, " The Nomadic Boys " where they even published an article on " Gay Guide in Penang Island " recently.

I Wear Speedos - DESPACITO PARODY by Mikey Bustos

There is no doubt, that the Summer Song of 2017 belongs to "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi fr Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber! -- Who can resist not gyrating to its' slow, but catchy, infectious beats!

It has created lotsa parodies on the internet, but this version, I feel, it's the best Despacito Parody, that also truly represents the summery feel of gay men!

Please watch this "I Wear Speedos" by the cute Pinoy, Mikey Bustos -- I bet you will enjoy the lyrics!

#bathtubselfie Guys

The hashtag #bathtubselfie was popularized by none other than Miley Cyrus herself with her risque selfies on her Instagram. #bathtubselfie even gained a fan in the form of Justin Bieber!

But I believe, that these straight people are actually hijacking the #bathtubselfie novelty from gay men! -- Who does it better than gay guys, right?! Most gays can't stand looking at an empty bath tub -- It will be a SIN for not enjoying yourself, immersed in a hot bath!

Yes, it's a SIN to leave the bathtub empty!

Yayoi Kusama Sg Exhibition - Life is The Heart of A Rainbow

Yayoi Kusama (草間 彌生 , born 1929 ) , arguably the most famous contemporary artist in the world at the moment -- has arrived in Singapore, albeit a retrospective exhibition titled "Life Is The Heart Of A Rainbow" -- a collaboration  between National Gallery Singapore and Queensland Art Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane, Australia.

The 88-year-old “Polka Dot Princess”, was crowned as the world’s most popular artist in 2014, as ranked by museum attendance, by the acclaimed "The Art Newspaper" and she also holds the record for the world's Most Expensive Artwork ever sold by a living female artist!

For more history of her, you can actually read her biography in wikipedia

Being a woman in the 60's, as well as a Japanese/foreigner in New York, meant that her work was never really appreciated by the male-dominated , Western community of the art scene. Nevertheless, in these past 10 years, her works have been "rediscovered" -- and with her trademark "Polka Dots"-- she is now acknowledged as one of the most important living artists to come out of Japan.

Yayoi Kusama, and her iconic Yellow Polka Dot "Pumpkin" ...
No words needed to describe the great "Pumpkin" , as anyone in the contemporary arts & culture scene, or even the fashion & pop spheres, knew that the Yellow Pumpkin represents Yayoi Kusama.

Looking great as ever even though she is in her 80s ....

Now, head over to Singapore's National Gallery and take some wonderful photos inside! Since opening in June, it has become the "Must-Go" place for many LGBTs in Singapore, as well as tourists!!

Who knows, you may find your Mr.Right, among the crowd of museum-goers!

Cruising in Kowloon Park Swimming Complex 九龍公園游泳池 Hong Kong

Summer is here ... And Hong Kong city is one of the best place in Asia, to go for a swim and have a good sunbathing sexsion.

Kowloon Park Swimming Complex 九龍公園游泳池 is one of the biggest public swimming pool in Hong Kong. Every summer, without fail, you will see hordes of gay men congregating at Kowloon Park swimming pool, as it is located centrally in the midst of Tsim Tsa Tsui's concrete jungle. Hence, gay cruising at the pool is one of the must-activities during Summer in Hong Kong!

The temperature is scorching hot during Summer in Hong Kong -- Plus, the humidity that makes your body feeling sticky the moment you get out from your air-conditioned room -- Makes you want to shower more than exploring Hong Kong city instead! Therefore, isn't it a great idea to have a dip at the pool and a refreshing shower ( Continue reading and you will know why you can visit a swimming pool without your towel / swim trunks / shampoo and shower gel! ) after a long walk/day of shopping in Tsim Tsa Tsui?

Kowloon Park Swimming Complex 九龍公園游泳池 is one of my favourite pool, whenever I visit Hong Kong. The admission fee is:
a) Weekdays = HKD17
b) Weekends / Public Holidays = HK19
( You can just tap your Octopus Card at the entrance )

Most of the time -- My true & sincere intentions of going to the pool are as followed:

1) To get a beautiful tan and maintaining the tan line from my Aqux swimtrunk
2) To burn my little tummy by swimming sexy-gorously
3) and to enjoy the sights of beautiful Hong Kong men at the pool ..

Seriously!

But nevertheless --- Since I've been to Kowloon Park pool many times,  it's about time for me to share some reviews and cruising etiquette of this wonderful place.

Summer Tanning Boys!

Some of you might love it, some may loathe it .. But one thing for sure, SUMMER is here ( especially to countries with four seasons in the northern hemisphere! ) -- Luckily for Malaysia -- We are a tropical country --  Hence, it's either rain or shine throughout the year! Nevertheless, to those on summer holidays, do remember to pack your essentials and brace yourself under the hot sun to get a beautiful tan! Cheers ...

You can go to the beach and have a good tan ....

Beautiful Boys with their Beautiful Pets - Part 5!

I'm sure many of us are pet lovers ...

Here are some excerpts  taken from this site that says "Why Pets (or rather dogs ) and gay men: a match made in heaven "

"Many gay men feel a disconnect with their own families. Dogs/Pets live to connect, and the unconditional love a dog/pet offers when he raises a paw or rubs his nose in his new owner’s crotch may be the first true moment of ‘family’ a gay man experiences.

A dog/pet can really make a person feel like he’s come home, especially if he’s bearing a bag of groceries or a smelly pepperoni pizza.”

"Formal"-ity Fetish! - Spy Cam

For us gays, looking at a well-toned man, in his going-to-burst work shirt --- is like straight guys looking at office girls in miniskirts! Who doesn't love a guy, in a smart, tight-fitting formal wear attire, right?

Imagine, to those who commute to work with public transport -- You can see many guys in formal wear at the Bus/MRT stations and trains -- That's why don't see sleepy gays on morning trains -- everyone will be on alert with their phones out ( either being friendly and try to get their contacts or searching the "apps" to see whether they are one of them -- or taking spy-cam pictures -- just like the photos below ) , training their mascara-ed eyes for eye contacts , some gays in tight working clothes will be more than happy to sashay along the aisle to show off their tight booties, hoping to attract the men!

Virgin Coconut Boys

Summer is coming. Everyone loves drinking coconut water and I know that I'm one of them.
And to those Coconut Virgins, who have never drank or tasted Coconut water before , kindly read my silly post as usual --- The  Top 8 Benefits why you should drink coconut water.

1. For a PICTURE-PERFECT SKIN

For those with acne or other blemishes on the surface of the skin, topical application of coconut water can go a great distance as it has the ability to clear up and subsequently tone the skin. It also moisturizes the skin from within if ingested orally and eliminates large amounts of oil. This explains why products such as facial creams, shampoos, conditioners and lotions that contain traces of coconut extract are more effective

When you have good skin, you can just strip naked and have a picture-perfect photo by the beach and you will definitely get thousands of Likes on your social media!

#GCIRCUIT #SONGKRAN #SK11 Party 2017 - Videos

So, Songkran 2017 has ended.

The only time where you  will see the the whole flight might be filled with people like us or even the only time where you will keep on saying Hi to many of your friends who happen to go to the same destination with you!

When you tell your parents, or even straight friends and family, that you are going to Thailand for Songkran or " 泼水节" --- They will not bat an eyelid because to them,  泼水节 or Songkran is a normal Thai festival that everyone enjoys going, from children to elderly!

But when you tell your gay friends that you are going to Songkran, they will look at you cynically as it will be all about #gaysex #gayparty #gayfriends #stickyrice #potatoqueen #nakedambition #gaypoppers #gaydisco #gaygogodancers #gayboys #gayhunks #gayshopping #gaydrinking #gayshooting #gayhunting so on and so forth! 😅😅

But nevertheless, Songkran is something that everyone should enjoy. Here are some videos from the recently concluded #sk11 party! Cheers
