Yayoi Kusama (草間 彌生 , born 1929 ) , arguably the most famous contemporary artist in the world at the moment -- has arrived in Singapore, albeit a retrospective exhibition titled "Life Is The Heart Of A Rainbow" -- a collaboration  between National Gallery Singapore and Queensland Art Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane, Australia.

I know, I know...It's a Saturday Night, why the hell I'm at home blogging ? Well, Simon Lover is actually an alter ego of mine. In person, I'm actually more of a homely himbo boy. With da Horny BF back to his hometown, I've nothing to do at home, hence, thinking of old memories to reminisce.

Yu Shirota (城田 優 Shirota Yū ), born December 26, 1985, is a Japanese-Spanish actor, most known for his role as Kagurazaka Makoto in the Japanese television drama live-action adaption of Hana-Kimi, Kunimitsu Tezuka in the Prince of Tennis Musicals and as Kei Shinjo in Rookies. In 2009, he was named one of the most promising actors and actresses, placing 8th in a poll conducted by Oricon. He is a former member of the Watanabe Entertainment group,D-BOYS.

 

Shirota was born on December 26, 1985 to a Japanese father (城田光男) and a Spanish mother. Shirota lived in Barcelona, Spain from when he was three to about seven years. He returned to Japan for elementary school and can still speak Spanish in ordinary conversation. He attended high school at Horikoshi High along with NEWS member Yamashita Tomohisa, WaT’s Teppei Koike, Japanese actor and singer Ikuta Toma and KAT-TUN’s Akanishi Jin and Tanaka Koki.

Last year, Arashi’s Sakurai Sho created quite the buzz for his appearance in anan’s “Men’s Body”; this time, ‘anan’ went with Shirota, who will be showing off his flexible body for six whole pages. The magazine also held an interview with Shirota, who trained and underwent a strict diet just for this photoshoot.
Shirota explains, “I took my clothes off for a drama when I was 20, but I was really thin back then and it didn’t look good”.

 
Consequently, Shirota was inspired to meet with a trainer, and went on a strict diet to get his body in tip-top shape. He is known to be a “sweets boy” who loves chocolate and cake, but because of his strict diet, the only chocolate he’s eaten all year was on Valentine’s Day.

In the beginning, Shirota didn’t plan on doing a full nude, but he decided to show it off after he heard the photographer’s request.
